New York City is home to the world’s first tall commercial buildings. This photo illustrates various buildings situated in the heart New York City. Every building in this photo is somewhat different from each other in architectural manner. Many of these buildings have been standing there for hundredths of years, which portray a historical meaning as well. This picture falls under the built heritage category because it consists of unique and irreplaceable architecture with historic background that merits preservation for future generations. Hence, these old and modern buildings with plenty of historical importance are definitely part of the built heritage category.
