Pontelandolfo is a small town in the country of Italy, which also happens to be the birthplace of my father. The attire that both my mother and father represent what the people in that small town used to wear in the olden days. This photo is in correlation with cultural heritage due to the fact that clothes can represent someone’s culture. This photo was taken in my home behind a family portrait, which portrays the closeness I have with my family. The family being close is an important aspect in the Italian culture. They wear this type of clothing once a year on October 17. The reason behind this is to celebrate when Pontelandolfo was created and integrated into Italy.
