“Wish you Were Here: Postcards of the Towns and Villages of Stanstead County” is the title of a new exhibition now on view at the Colby-Curtis Museum in Stanstead.

larger_img_0019.jpgThe exhibition, which runs until June 5, 2016, features a fascinating display over 200 postcards from villages and towns such as Rock Island, Stanstead, Ayer’s Cliff, North Hatley, Hatley, Coaticook, Magog, Fitch Bay, Georgeville -- all villages in the old Stanstead County. The majority of the postcards date from the turn of the 20th century.

This is a unique opportunity to see such a wide selection of postcards from the numerous communities and to see first-hand the heritage of the communities of this region.
