Tara Walker is a teacher, facilitator, coach and consultant with over 15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector and as an entrepreneur. This experience includes leading a non-profit association in Manitoba that serves the film and television industry, and co-launching and managing an international design company. She also served as manager of the World Design Capital initiative of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design. She holds a BA in history (University of Victoria) and a Masters of Business Administration (Concordia University) specialized in strategy, marketing, and sustainable business practices.
Tara teaches business full-time at John Abbott College and regularly mentors new entrepreneurs. In 2016, she led workshops on volunteer strategies for QAHN in Wakefield and Gaspe. She is currently completing a Masters in Human Systems Intervention (HSI).
