Patterson's General Store. This store was rebuilt after the 1904 fire that caused damage to it and many other buildings in the centre of Wakefield village. In 1927, the general store was sold to the Cross family who continued to operate it until 1977 and then to rent the space for a variety of businesses, later selling the building to the Jamboree gift shop. Much of the interior of this store is original, still having the high ceilings, detailed woodwork trim, and large, deep display windows. (Photo - Ani
