How about so-called “hybrid” events that feature in-person and online audiences and participants simultaneously? How do you get more professional looking video and clear, crisp audio online? How do you setup a livestream event? What kinds of budgets are needed?
The third in the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network's ongoing series of "Heritage Live" hybrid events took place on Sunday at the Colby-Curtis Museum in Stanstead. The event was combined with the 6th annual Eastern Townships Heritage Fair, featuring kiosks by the Lac-Brome Museum, LAHMS, the Eastern Townships Resource Centre, the Bury Historical and Heritage Society, the Georgeville Historical Society, and QAHN.

By the late 1890s, prominent Ottawa lumberman Frederick Wells Avery had become a member of the Ottawa Golf Club (the area’s first golf club, which was founded in 1891), and he had also recently discovered the pleasures of summer resort life in Aylmer, which was beginning to boom as a resort patronized by well-to-do Ottawa residents who wished to escape the city’s frequently hot, humid weather from June to August.
