Overgrown but not forgotten: Bickford Corner Cemetery, Barnston Township, Quebec, September 2023

Like too many rural cemeteries in Quebec, the old Bickford Corner Cemetery (1814) in Barnston Township (now a part of Coaticook) is now largely abandoned. The community this little burial ground once served has all but disappeared, as have (apparently) the descendants of those who are at rest here. The last burial took place in 1928.
