QAHN's 2021 Heritage Talks Online series is now well and truly under way. Last week, historian and author Rod MacLeod presented a fascinating talk called "Crystal Gazing: Building Exhibition Spaces in Montreal, 1855-1882." Over 170 people tuned in to the live presentation, over Zoom and Facebook Live.
The second talk in the series was by Grant Myers, who is a historian as well as president of the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network. This talk was called "Mr. Allbee Comes to Canada," and received nearly 125 viewers during the live event.
Later this week, Jody Robinson who is archivist at the Eastern Townships Resource Centre (and VP of QAHN) gives a talk called "Colonization Efforts of the 20th Century: Lawrence Colony Revisited." This event will take place on Sunday, February 21, at 1 p.m.
