The Missisquoi Historical Society has an extensive archives of documentary and photographic material. Items in the collection include rare images of village life a century or more ago. Seen here is the American House. Dating to the early 1800s, this inn (now gone) was located in the centre of the village. The property of Joseph Dion, it was destroyed by fire in 1922.
