Adjoining the Academy is the Martin Annex. Inaugurated in 1921 by Prime Minister Robert Borden, this building houses some of the historical society's military artifacts. The historical society's most famous possession by far (and possibly the largest object in its collection) is the Fokker DVII, a World War I bi-plane, and one of only three of its kind in the world.
