From the bridge there are spectacular views of the river, and its east side gardens and staircase lead to a swimming area a few feet away. The bridge connects the house to the village and is a crossing for hikers and other pedestrians on walking trails through the village. Also, the Trans-Canada Trail leads hikers over the bridge to a mapped link in Hendrick Park. (Photo - Anita Rutledge)
