QAHN executive director Matthew Farfan presented Tara Cope, president of the Georgeville Historical Society (GHS), with a cheque today to help with the historical society's recent purchase of the Georgeville United Church.
The church, which dates back to the nineteenth century, is a cherished heritage landmark in the community.
The historical society's acquisition of the church will ensure the building continues to be used by a local community group for many years to come. QAHN congratulates the GHS for this initiative, and wishes them well in their splendid new home!
