The 2021 Eastern Townships Heritage Fair -- QAHN's fifth (and 2nd online) took place on Sunday. In total, close to 300 people took part in the online event on Zoom or Facebook Livestream.

The event was hosted by Heather Darch and Glenn Patterson.

Special guests representing heritage organizations around the region included Jody Robinson (Eastern Townships Resource Centre); Michel Racicot (Bruck Museum and Cowansville Historical Society); Sharon Moore (Eaton Corner Museum); John Mackley (Bury Historical & Heritage Society); Bev Loomis (Patrimoine Ascott Heritage); Tyson Rosburg (Missisquoi Museum); Wendy Durrant (Lennoxville-Ascot Historical and Museum Society); Kathy Curtis (Colby-Curtis Museum); Rachel Lambie (Lac-Brome Museum); and Norma Husk (Richmond County Museum).

John Mackley also read an excerpt from his book "Ol' Tom Stories, An Eastern Townships Life," while Danielle Dansereau gave a talk on "Borders, Customs and Smuggling."

Feedback during and after the two-hour event was enthusiastic. In the words of one viewer, "Thanks so much for making me realize what a rich territory for exploration exists so close to home," and "I would love to visit ALL of these places... I'll need to do some planning for an efficient circuit route to get them all in!!!"
