QAHN's 2013-2015 project "Security for Heritage Outreach and Workshop Initiative (SHOWI)" will enable QAHN to prepare and present workshops designed to inform small English community-based museums, archives and heritage organizations throughout rural Quebec about how to attain a greater level of security for their cultural heritage and human resources.
Issues to be addressed include: physical security (for buildings and premises); collections security (protection from theft and degradation); and virtual security (digital vandalism).
Workshops will be presented in up to four regions of the province and are expected to reach 30 heritage organizations and 100 heritage leaders in Quebec's English-speaking community.
