Rick Fraser BSc’69, MSc '71, MDCM’76, is a Professor of Pathology at McGill University and senior pathologist at the McGill University Health Center. He is recipient of a number of teaching awards from McGill as well as Distinguished Service Awards from the Canadian Association of Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Although still actively involved in diagnostic pathology service and teaching, he has also developed an interest in medical history and has been the Director of the McGill Maude Abbott Medical Museum since its inception in 2013. With the assistance of a team of dedicated colleagues, he has been able to reestablish the Museum as a valuable educational resource for McGill students and staff as well as the public at large.
