Jody Robinson, who is the Archivist at the Eastern Townships Resource Centre at Bishop's University, was raised on a dairy farm near Lennoxville. After receiving her diploma in liberal arts from Champlain Regional College, she attended Bishop’s University where she graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in history and a minor in sociology. Jody also holds a M.A. in history from the Université de Sherbrooke. Following graduation, she worked with heritage organizations in the Eastern Townships, including the Colby-Curtis Museum and the Compton County Historical Museum Society. In 2006, she was hired to work as archivist for the Eastern Townships Resource Centre, where she works to preserve the history of the English-speaking community of the Eastern Townships and to provide assistance to genealogists and other researchers. As part of her work, Jody Robinson is involved with, or belongs to, the following organizations: the Réseau des services d’archives du Québec, the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network, the Fédération Histoire Québec, the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) and the Canadian Council of Archives.
