QAHN Past President Kevin O'Donnell Passes Away

QAHN is saddened to report the death of our dear friend and colleague Kevin O'Donnell. Kevin served as a Member of QAHN's Board of Directors from 2006 to 2008, and as President of the organization from 2008 to 2013. He was a tireless, fearless leader who never shied away from speaking his mind. He had a strong vision for this organization, and worked passionately to further our mission. He continued to be a big supporter right up until the time of his death...

The Whiteley Museum was named in honour of William H. Whiteley, inventor of the cod trap in 1871. Through this invention, Whiteley revolutionized cod fishing throughout Eastern Canada.
