The third in the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network's ongoing series of "Heritage Live" hybrid events took place on Sunday at the Colby-Curtis Museum in Stanstead. The event was combined with the 6th annual Eastern Townships Heritage Fair, featuring kiosks by the Lac-Brome Museum, LAHMS, the Eastern Townships Resource Centre, the Bury Historical and Heritage Society, the Georgeville Historical Society, and QAHN.

The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) has partnered with 15 heritage organizations and community groups, all core members of QAHN and from across the province, to support history and heritage research projects and exhibitions that highlight Quebec’s English-speaking communities.

Work is well under way on Season 3 of QAHN's popular "Scandal Makers" documentary film series, and our "Scandal Makers" production team has been back on the road, notably in the Centre du Québec and Trois-Rivières regions.
Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau announces funding for QAHN and Townshippers' Association

It was alongside representatives from Townshippers' Association and the Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) that Minister-MP Marie-Claude Bibeau announced contributions from Official Languages Canada to two organizations of the linguistic minority community of the Eastern Townships. These contributions amount to more than $1.5 million over three years.

L’histoire du township de Rawdon à son commencement raconte les circonstances historiques ayant menées à la révolte des Patriotes Canadiens en 1837-1838. Dans les 92 résolutions présentées par les Patriotes beaucoup concernaient l’ouverture de nouvelles terres à la colonisation dans les cantons ou townships puisque la vallée du St-Laurent devenait surpeuplée.
