Canadian Irish Migration Preservation Network (CIMPN) Wins 2024 Richard Evans Award!
Sherbrooke, Qc., April 29, 2024 – The Quebec Anglophone Heritage Network (QAHN) is pleased to announce the Canadian Irish Migration Preservation Network (CIMPN) as this year’s recipient of the Richard Evans Award in recognition of outstanding long-term contributions by an organization or group of volunteers to the preservation and promotion of Anglophone heritage in the province of Quebec.

QAHN "MATCH" Training Program Continues to Grow
--February 7, 2024. QAHN's 3-year “Mentorship Assistance and Training for Community Heritage (MATCH)” program, funded by Quebec’s Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d'expression anglaise (SRQEA), continues to grow as it approaches the one-year mark.
QAHN Past President Kevin O'Donnell Passes Away
January 25, 2024. QAHN is saddened to report the death of our dear friend and colleague Kevin O'Donnell. Kevin served as a Member of QAHN's Board of Directors from 2006 to 2008, and as President of the organization from 2008 to 2013. He was a tireless, fearless leader who never shied away from speaking his mind. He had a strong vision for this organization, and worked passionately to further our mission. He continued to be a big supporter right up until the time of his death...We'll miss you, Kevin!

2023 Richard Evans Award Presentation in Shannon!
--September 25, 2023. QAHN Directors Simon Jacobs (left) and Michèle Thibeau (right) visited Shannon this past weekend, where they presented the volunteer organizers of the renowned Shannon Irish Show with the coveted 2023 Richard Evans Award! Participants in the ceremony were delighted. Or as Deborah Kiley (second from left in this photo) put it, "thank you QAHN, and to you Simon & Michèle, for taking the time to come and present the Richard Evans award in Shannon! We were very honored to be recognized for this most prestigious award!"
